Narooma District Funerals has been caring for families in the Eurobodalla Shire for more than 40 years alongside Batemans Bay & Moruya District Funerals.
We also offer an all ladies funeral service through Eurobodalla Ladies Funerals.
Providing care and support to families through one of the most stressful times, we offer a compassionate and caring service before, during and after the funeral.
Care is at the heart of what we do, and our tailored service approach ensures your loved one’s life is celebrated and a beautiful, personal and loving tribute is delivered to make saying goodbye just a little easier.
The team at Narooma District Funerals takes great pride in arranging a personalised funeral, incorporating special elements that makes the service unique and memorable.
This may include a theme, custom coffin or use of our three vintage hearses.
We are often asked to hold services at a particular time of day or at a venue that reflects the person’s life. Our team has held many services at locations across the region including by the water at Tuross spit and we were entrusted with the high-profile funeral of Moruya rugby league icon Ack Weyman in 2019.

Amy Viles
Amy Viles has been working as a Funeral Arranger and Location Manager for almost two years. Before joining the profession, she worked at a local horticulture farm, but felt drawn to this industry because of her desire to care for people when they need it most. Supporting families through such a difficult time is something she finds deeply meaningful, and it is this sense of purpose that continues to inspire her every day.
What Amy values most about being a Funeral Arranger is the opportunity to make a difference for families. She takes pride in guiding them through the funeral process, ensuring their loved one is honoured with dignity and compassion. For Amy, it is not only about the service itself but also about offering comfort and reassurance. She also treasures the strong sense of community in her work and the supportive colleagues she collaborates with daily.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys bushwalking, visiting local beaches, and spending time with her family and her dog. These activities help her stay active, connected, and refreshed. She also has a creative side, with a love for crochet and cross stitch—though she admits to having many unfinished projects! As a family, they share a passion for travel, aiming to explore a new destination each year to create lasting memories together.
Amy feels fortunate to live in a community that is welcoming and supportive, surrounded by stunning beaches and bushland. This environment allows her to relax, stay active, and remain connected to nature. She believes that the spirit of her local area mirrors the values of her work: compassion, care, and connection.
At the heart of everything Amy does is her commitment to families. She believes the brand is special because of the supportive team behind it and the care invested in every service. For Amy, it is not just about what is offered, but how it is delivered—with professionalism, compassion, and a genuine dedication to the people they serve.
